We are made up of our members
Jefferson Credit Union is owned by ordinary people who work together as members to help each other achieve financial success and live well. Members save their money in the Credit Union because they trust us to invest and use their savings wisely and pay a good interest rate [dividend]. The money they save is used to fund loans for themselves and other members who borrow to buy houses and cars, to pay for their children’s education, and many other worthwhile purposes. In addition to loans and savings, Jefferson Credit Union adds value to membership by offering a variety of modern banking services.
Jefferson Credit Union is not for profit. We are here to provide valuable banking services to our members. We are trusted because we have qualified, stable management, and we’re a local, member-owned cooperative; and members know that we walk with them through good times and bad times. No matter which lot you’re in, Jefferson Credit Union offers real solutions to help you achieve your financial goals and turn your financial dreams into reality.
Radio commentator Paul Harvey said, “In times like these it’s good to remember that there have always been times like these”. Jefferson Credit Union understands this because we’ve been helping our members through good times and bad times since 1941, and we are very good at it.
As a matter of fact, BauerFinancial, the nation’s leading bank and credit union rating and research firm, rates Jefferson at the highest possible rating, 5-Star, because of sound decision-making and a total focus on the welfare of our members.
